Empowering women’s workforce reintegration through biophilic learning
Supporting Recovery Through Nature-Connected
NatureHeal is a European initiative supporting women aged 30 and over recovering from women-specific cancers. Through biophilic learning approaches, we strengthen emotional wellbeing, build confidence, and support workforce reintegration across Spain, Serbia, and Türkiye.
Our programme combines nature-inspired environments with practical adult education tools, creating supportive spaces where women can rebuild motivation, develop resilience, and prepare for their return to work with renewed purpose.

By demonstrating the effectiveness of biophilic learning for supporting women’s recovery and workforce reintegration, we contribute to broader conversations about inclusive, trauma-informed adult education.
Our vision is a European landscape where nature-connected learning is recognised as a valuable approach for supporting vulnerable groups, where educators have access to practical tools and training, and where women recovering from cancer find pathways back to work that honour their experiences and support their wellbeing.
